We’ve been a family-owned automotive repair shop in Ventura for over 70 years, so we know a little about excellent customer care. 🙂

We want you to feel that we are the most reliable place to maintain your car. Because of this, we offer 3 year/36,000 mile warranty on major repairs, which guarantees that you and your car are fully protected (and satisfied) with our services. Each repair is performed by a highly-trained auto mechanics. You can always rest assured that you are in expert hands. We also offer free loaner cars and rides to wherever you need to go in town, while your car is being serviced.

One of the things that sets us apart from other shops is that we truly care about our community. We’ve seen Ventura change, grow and adapt over the last 70 years, which means we’ve serviced generations of Ventura families.

We understand that a car isn’t just a piece of machinery—it’s a vessel full of memories, like the first day of school, or a sweet summer road trip, or where you do your makeup before a business meeting. We always love it when one of our customers’ kids brings in their car, because we get to feel that we are part of continuity—part of their tradition. So, we treat cars the way we treat people—with attention, care, integrity, and love.

Spring Car Maintenance

Winter is officially winding down and the air is full of spring. Seasonal changes affect your car’s overall condition—it’s a good idea to do a few spring maintenance tune-ups to optimize your vehicle’s capacity.

  • We highly recommend a thorough wash and wax.
It’s one of the best things you can do post-winter. Cold seasons make a lot of grime, dirt, and salt accumulate on your car, which will lead to rust and a deteriorated paint coat. While you’re at it, clean the inside of your car too (no one wants to do this while it is cold out). Throw out all that trash and vacuum the seats. Spring cleaning exists for a reason!
  • Check your tire pressure.
This is crucial. The temperature drops in the winter, which makes the tire pressure decrease. However, as it gets warmer, the pressure will increase, which can be dangerous if it increases past your manufacture specification. This will ultimately affect your fuel economy, and your car’s overall drivability. Definitely have us take a look at your tires.
  • Check your window wipes for signs of cracking and deterioration.
You want to make sure they are in prime condition for the spring rains.
  • Make an appointment with us so that we can check under your hood.
The cold affects the engine, so we want to make sure your car is in excellent shape—we’ll check belts and hoses and your coolant to make sure it’s in top condition.
